Mr. Keim is a Professional Engineer with over 10 years of experience in facilities  engineering across various industries. He founded Encore Engineering Ltd. in 2020,  where he has worked as a sole practitioner, delivering projects that support  electrical and control systems for clients in BC and Alberta. His focus on practical,  fit-for-purpose design solutions has contributed to his success in operations and  maintenance (O&M) environments throughout his career. 

Early in his career, Steve undertook projects supporting turnaround work  packages for Spectra Energy’s gas processing facilities in northern BC. In this role,  he gained a broad range of experience, from PLC programming to process  control design and control scheme development for compressor packages. 

Steve’s project portfolio includes the design and commissioning of natural gas  generator control systems, plant PLC-to-ControlLogix conversions, and RTU control  system and communications design. His extensive experience in manufacturing  and processing facilities enables him to consistently deliver high-quality solutions  that advance the development and optimization of electrical and control  systems across multiple industries.
